Mr Talevski and Miss Riccobono are guiding and leading our student representative council (SRC) in 2022.
The aim of Dundas Public School Student Representative Council is to be:
- Educational – students develop skills in leadership and communication
- Democratic – every student should have a voice
- Responsible – students solve real problems and make real decisions
- Sharing – students share with the school executive, teachers and the school community in the decision-making
- Caring – students care about their school and what happens in it and to it
- Fun and rewarding – students experience enjoyment through successful participation.
The SRC is an important way in which schools can provide meaningful leadership opportunities for students. The SRC facilitates leadership and decision making by all students in the school by representing them, promoting their views and participation in school decision making.
